I've invited you here so that we can all have a forum on which to share our thoughts on books, films, news shows, just generally art in general and life, more specifically.
My first recommendation is Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont. It is a film I just finished watching about a widow who goes to live at a hotel in London so that she won't be a burden to her daughter. (Aunt Holly - the lack of detail is for you).
By the way, while I'm thinking of it, we should probably put **spoiler alert** at the top of a post so that if there are people who really don't want to know anything about the plot of whatever it is we're talking about, they won't have to read on.
Not sure if anyone else has seen this one, but if so, let me know what you thought. If not, start watching!!

I haven't seen Mrs. Paltrey at the Claremont, but it sounds like a good movie...i'll try to post something more substantial when i'm not exhausted. I can't believe it's 12:30 am and i've been working since morning and i'm still not finished...ugh...don't ever get a PhD. Those are my words of wisdom to contribute to this blog.
